ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence language model created by OpenAI, based on the GPT-3.5 architecture. It remembers what user said earlier in the conversationand is also trained to decline inappropriate requests. It has been trained on a vast corpus of text data to generate human-like responses to natural language queries. ChatGPT is capable of understanding and responding to a wide range of topics, from general knowledge to specialized fields. It can provide information, answer questions, generate text, and engage in natural language conversations with users. ChatGPT has been designed to continuously learn from its interactions with users and improve its responses over time.
As an AI language model, chatGPT’s knowledge is based on the vast corpus of text data that it was trained on. This corpus includes a wide range of sources such as books, articles, and web pages covering a vast array of topics. ChatGPT have access to information on various fields such as science, technology, history, literature, sports, entertainment, and many more.
ChatGPT is capable of understanding and answering questions related to these topics and can also generate text on them. However, it is important to note that while it has access to a large amount of information, it may not always have the most up-to-date or accurate information. So, it’s always best to double-check the information it provide and consult other sources if necessary.
Although ChatGPT has many advantage and uses, it has a major drawback:-
ChatGPT’s knowledge cutoff is as of September 2021, which was the time when its training dataset was last updated. This means that chatGPT’s knowledge is based on information available up to that point in time. However, it is constantly learning and adapting to new information based on its interactions with users. This means that while chatGPT’s knowledge is limited to the information available up to September 2021, chatGPT is constantly updating and refining its responses based on new information that it encounter.
